Crispy fermented crepes made with a wheat-lentil batter - a wholesome variation using NutriSelect atta.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup NutriSelect whole wheat atta
  • ½ cup urad dal (split black lentils)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil or NutriSelect mustard oil for cooking
Method
  1. 01

    Soak urad dal for 4 hours. Grind to a smooth batter, then mix with atta and salt.

    Ferment the batter at room temperature for 8 hours until bubbly.

  3. 03

    Heat a flat pan and lightly grease with mustard oil. Pour a ladle of batter and spread in circles.

  4. 04

    Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden and crisp.

  5. 05

    Serve with coconut chutney and sambar.
